Preparation
Ensure the surface is sound and free of loose material. Prime any nails or screw heads with an appropriate metal primer.
Application
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging. Test on a small area of the surface to ensure compatibility.
- Apply into the hole with a filling knife, smoothing off.
- Ensure filler is level with the surface.
- Repairs deeper than 5mm build up in layers allowing every layer to dry between applications.
- Allow to dry for 5-20 minutes, before sanding or decorating.
